Title: A Famine in Samaria

Medium: Woodcut

There was a great famine in Samaria, not only that, the people were under siege by the King of Aram, Ben-hadad. It was so bad that meat of any kind was enormously expensive. "...a donkey’s head was sold for eighty shekels of silver, and a fourth of a kab of dove’s dung for five shekels of silver".
